OFF-GAS DETECTION
The Li-ion Tamer® Gen3 system provides the earliest detection of failing lithium-ion batteries (detection of battery electrolyte vapours), well in advance of smoke and conventional gas detectors. With early warning of the initial signs of failing lithium-ion batteries, proper mitigation steps can be taken to prevent the progression to a catastrophic thermal runaway.
The system is highly scalable and can be configured for cost-effective protection for a wide range of lithium-ion battery storage installations. It provides multi-point temperature and humidity measurements for improved situational awareness/environmental control, and its simplified installation (daisy-chain connections between sensing nodes) reduces cabling material and setup time.
