Written by Technoswitch
November 2019:
The Technoswitch Emergency Voice Communication System is a fixed, secure, bi-directional, full duplex voice communication system to assist fire fighters during emergencies in high-rise buildings or large sites where radio communication cannot be guaranteed to work due to interference from the fire corona. The VS-EVS-228 Master Station is ideal for small standalone EVCS systems with up to eight lines of outstations. It may also be incorporated into a large network solution (maximum 64 panels, 512 outstations) using the VS-EVS-TMS Touchscreen Master Station. The Outstations can be either Type A fixed fire phones, Type B refuge hands free points, combined Type A and Type B Outstations, emergency assist call points, or jack points for use with a roaming telephone. The Technoswitch VS-EVS-EX8 System Expander Panel can accept up to eight lines of Outstation (Type A Fixed Phones, Type B Refuge Hands-free Points, Emergency Assist Alarm point or jack points) as required, while the Emergency Assist Alarm provides a simple solution to integrating Emergency Assist Alarm Call systems within an EVCS, providing a single display point for all disabled calls within a building.
